As an integral part of the communities in which we operate, The Community Mutual Group has a strong commitment to assisting our members through the entire life of your loan with us.
While we pride ourselves on being responsible lenders and making every effort to only lend to members who we believe can afford to make their repayments, we also understand that your personal circumstances can change and it can become difficult to make your regular loan repayments.
If you are facing financial hardship, The Community Mutual Group encourages you to discuss your circumstances by:

The Community Mutual Group offers several options to assist you during your period of financial hardship including:
Extending the period of the loan contract and reducing the amount of each repayment due under the contract accordingly
Postponing repayments during a specific period of dates on which payments are due under the contract or
Extending the period of the contract and postponing, during a specific period, the dates on which payments are due under the contract.
The Community Mutual Group will consider each member’s circumstances on an individual basis to assist you during your temporary financial hardship or other reasonable causes.
Members who apply for assistance during temporary financial hardship will need to complete a current Statement of Financial Position. This form is available as a PDF on our website HERE, throughout the branch network and by calling us on 132 067.
